The article is devoted to the problem of the research necessity of public mood, that emerged in Russia in XIX century, concerning the economical civilization realities, that associate with the industrial production and business activity growth. The author mentions that together with anti-bourgeois moods in the Russian society there was a loyal attitude to the capitalist relations system. In the given article it is given the process of making and “the spirit of capitalism” functioning survey in the public mood of the first half of XIX century Russia.
