        <p>The article is focused on the problem of the development of university students’ critical thinking skills regardless of the discipline or the students’ specialization. The importance of critical thinking skills for a higher quality of the cognitive activity is demonstrated. The need to take into account critical thinking skills when writing the intended learning outcomes is justified.</p>
