The conceptions of the “Quality of life” in historical aspect is considered. The analyses of the book “The society of prosperity” by John Gelbreight and “The report about the position of the nation” by John Kennedy in which the term “quality of life” is given. The subjective and objective indicators of the quality of life are considered.
