The article is devoted to the structure-semantic description of aphoristic texts by N. Durova. Principal attention pays to rhetorical argumentation and suggestive potential of means of influence upon recipient, usable by the author in it. Small-format aphoristic texts are examined in the light of such substantial and formal features as are representative for initial period of formation of female domestic prose. The gender aspect of linguistics permits to interpret aphoristic texts by N. Durova from a position of reflection in them of peculiar picture of the world, that specifically discovers masculine and female type and character of thinking.
