        <p>The article is devoted to understanding the concepts of spirituality, morality, spiritual and moral education. Pointing to their versatility, the author proves the presence of both secular and religious component. Spirituality in the present work is considered in the context of religious and Orthodox tradition is understood as a condition of the person, which manifests itself in the pursuit of the ideal, the highest value, connection with God. Morality is a manifestation of spirituality in human behavior, in its relations with the outside world. The rules of morality are formed by traditional religion. The process of moral education is considered from the perspective of the main signs of spirituality and morality: the human desire for the ideal orientation to the higher basic values and the nature of relationships between people.</p>
