        <p>The article analyses the results of a joint assignment on the subject of Intercultural Communication, where the students from Russia and the United States were communicating and discussing a variety of topics proposed by the lecturers. Students recorded their responses to the assignment. The article presents a qualitative analysis of the results and provides an overview of tasks proposed to the students. The aim of this project was to find out what problems students may encounter in the framework of intercultural dialogue. In addition, during the project, new issues and challenges appeared that may stimulate further study and formation skills of intercultural interaction.</p>
