Noncommercial traditions of Russian design

Article is devoted search of the reasons of occurrence and specificity of development of noncommercial design in the USSR and modern Russia. In article concepts of commercial and noncommercial design are compared and also features of design activity in Russia and integration of domestic design into the world market of design services are considered.
