This article is dedicated on the development of a comprehensive method of studying the monuments of the Eastern Christian art, in particular, icon-based theology of the image of P.A. Florensky. According to the epistemological concept of the author, considered in the context of religious philosophy, it is proposed to analyze the icon in terms of historical, aesthetic, psychological, and theurgic aspects.
