The  paper  examines  the  issues  associated  with  the  strengthening  of  the  role  of  humanitarian  and ideological components in the complex of higher technical education. The article argues for the importance of the treatment of the problems of the philosophy of technology and shows the specifics of the philosophical discipline. Complex phenomenon of modern technology requires multilateral analysis; in connection with this, the emphasis is on the changes, introduced the technology in everyday life.
