RAR RUS 99-109 Kabakchi Margarita Nordic classicism in Lars Sonck’s creative work The article deals with specific features of Finnish architecture in the 1920­s. The author has analyzed the changes that took place in work of Lars Sonck (1870–1956) – an outstanding master, a representative of the national romantic trend and one of the founders of the Finnish school of architecture during the transition period from Art Nouveau to Neo­classicism and further to Functionalism. The projects of the Finnish architect combined the return to the principles of axial symmetry, the use of columns and the monochrome facade decoration with the further application of the elements typical of national romanticism of the turn of the century. Considered are the main instruments of selection of prospective students to be educated by university programs, including the prior education evaluation, entrance examinations and interviews. The aim of the terminology analysis is revelation of the chosen terminology peculiarities. The consistency and the strict logical interdependence of the terms demonstrate the development of the cochlear implantation terminology into a system of terms as a deliberately formed unity.
