The problem of origins of industrial and technical education in the USSR in the first half of the 20th century (a historical sketch)
The article contains a comparative historical analysis of the matter, basic forms and methodological organizing principles of the educational process in the industrial secondary schools in 1920–1930th. To achieve the objectives of the study a comparative method of analysis of archival documents and educational materials has been used; the methodological principle of the unity of the historical and logical, abstract and concrete has been applied. The main results of the study include the fact that in the 1920s the pedagogical innovation was a common characteristic for industrial technical schools, which was expressed in the elaboration of active forms and methods of training and education. as a result of unification of the education in the 1930s the didactic and methodological experience of the previous decade was actually abandoned and there was a trend to heavily politicize and ideologies the education.

St. Petersburg university in the focus of government policy (1860s — early 1880s)
This article analyzes the relationship between the government and russian universities at the turn of the pivotal era of 1870s–1880s. The author examines the main activities in the government policy with regard to the “university issue” through the prism of the events that took place in st. Petersburg university. The article shows that the professorial corporations were not ready to act as a an instrument of government control because not only it contradicted their political position, but also their ideas of the “ideal of the university”. This situation was especially brightly reflected during the crisis at the turn of 1870s–1880s. The capital city university that encouraged the government to look for a way first in limiting “control” over the student body (the era of Ministers of loris-Melikov and saburov) and then, after the obvious failure of these policies – to limit the “autonomy” of universities (regulations 1884).

The origins and ways to build scientific world outlook
World comprehension as a certain aspect of the conception of the world does not have its own universal form. it is the generalized image of objective reality as opposed to humanity. arising before the scientific age as a perception of the world it concretizes, obtains a more profound meaning and turns into conceptually built and scientifically based world outlook.

Organic concept of truth as the basis of cultural identity
The core of cultural identity consists in national consciousness which is built in the course of familiarizing with domestic philosophical culture as a certain system of values and ideals. The truth in the system of universal values and ideals plays a key role in the process of self-identity. The article reveals for the first time the national concept of truth, produced by an informal community of russian organicists and cosmists. This concept corresponds to the calls of the modern era with its vital need to reorient the world outlook from contemplative (mechanistic) one to actively dialectical (organic) one.

Descriptive nature of the language and the problem of truth
language communication suggests a possibility to agree on certain statements between interlocutors and so an ability to ascertain verity of the statement. concerning possible truth value reference of the statement to the expressed situation may only be descriptive (figurative). stimulus interpretation of language statements and their elements cannot be regarded as satisfactory. situations and events of our world correlate to our pictures and only owing to the possibility of figuring such pictures these situations stand out the world as meaningful unities. interpretation of descriptive (figurative) correlation has no need neither in mediation of the “logical form”, nor in any structural similarity between sentences and situations they describe.
