Intercultural communication linguistics

The article analyzes sign-oriented nature of language through the intercultural Russian language discourse. Various political, psychological and social reasons for national language denormalization are considered. The mechanism of invective lexis penetration into the discourse is revealed, its functional potential and ways of neutralization are examined.
