Abstract:

The article deals with the public activity of B.A. Milyutin, an official of special mission attached to the Governor-general of Eastern-Siberia in 1859-1874, who initiated the East-Siberian section of Russian Technical society and established «Izvestia» and «Works» of this society local section.
