The problem of human dignity is regarded and the definition of this category is given through the analysis of human psyche in which the soul is interpreted as a complicated synthesis of the superior origin, spirit and low origins - instincts, attractions and passions. Self-overcoming and control of the «too human» powerful element form the human dignity.
