Abstract:

Problems of phonic and graphic text attribution within the framework of linguistic expertise are considered. As it goes from the analysis of the independent linguistic expertise laboratory experience, substantive differences in linguistic material stipulate different ways and forms of expert work, sometimes leading experts to antithetical results. Subjective factor is also analyzed, as expert's personality and his professionalism level play a key role in text analysis process, which results in the verdict of judicial and law-enforcement bodies, expressing legal view of the text author.
