From totalitarianism to consumer society: two ways of development of the ideas of the Enlightenment

There are two types of state ideology in XX-XXI centuries: totalitarian regime (in Italy, Spain, Germany, USSR, China in the middle of the XXth century) and contemporary western ideology of consumer society They both were born as a result of development of the ideas of the Enlightenment (reasonable governing, liberty, equality, justice) and they have a lot of similarities, which have been analyzed in the article.
