The article is devoted to the analysis and theoretical study of approaches to designing and building a modern system of continuing professional education in the field of design. The article discusses a systematic approach to design – education through the integration and interdisciplinary interaction design, professional and  educational  activities  based  on  the  principles  of  continuing  education  (lifelong)  and  the  multilevel structure of the education system itself.
