The method of forming of English scientific speech in engineering students

To date, there is no generally accepted approach to teaching Foreign Languages for Scientific Purposes in technical universities. This paper covers a new approach, based on students’ participation at a model of the international conference. This approach aids students to acquire practical skills needed for successful presentation  and  defense  of  technical  research  works.  At  the  first  stage  emphasis  is  placed  on  English mathematical language acquisition (with mathematical software package Mathcad used as the main technical mean), at the second stage students are taught to make reports on special and general technical topics.
