Publications
Professor for the History of Slavic Languages and Linguistics at the University of Dresden, Germany. Research interests: Linguistic theory, cultural linguistics, discourse and argumentation linguistics, semantics and pragmalinguistics of Slavic contemporary languages, historical pragmatics, investigations on discourses and language varieties (especially Russian philosophical discourse, political and religious discourse as well as advertising in Slavia) and other aspects of linguistic-cultural interaction.
Since 1997 co-editor of the series Specimina philologiae Slavicae, since 1995 its sub-series 'Slavic Linguistics and Interdisciplinarity'
Since 2009 co-editor of the Journal of Slavic Studies;
Member of the Research Group Russian Philosophy, the Slavonic Slaves , in the German Slavic Association;
Member of the Academy of Sciences and Literature, Mainz.
Research interests:
cultural linguistics, discourse and argumentation linguistics, semantics and pragmalinguistics of Slavic contemporary languages, historical pragmatics, investigations on discourses and language varieties (especially Russian philosophical discourse, political and religious discourse) and other aspects of linguistic-cultural interaction.
