Biography
Doctor of Philology, Professor, Director of Institute of Russian Studies in Nanjing University, Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of Russian Teaching Subcommittee of The National Administry Committee on Teaching Foreign Languages to Majors in Higher Education under The Ministry of Education, Vice-President of China Bakhtin Society. Associate editor of Russian Literature and Arts, Russian in China, Eurasian Humanities Studies, Journal of PLA University of Foreign Languages. Research interests include literary study, rhetoric and Russian studies.
Wang Jiaxing graduated from Nanjing University in 1979. In 1990, he received a master's degree from Nanjing University. In 1994, received a doctor’s degree from Beijing Foreign Studies University. Since 1985, he has been a teacher at Department of Russian, School of Foreign Studies, Nanjing University where he became professor in 2004. Since, 2013, he has been director of Institute of Russian Studies at Nanjing University. He lectured at Russian universities a lot of times.
