To history formation of an iconography of an image the foolish in the christ

In given article the question of formation of an iconography of an image of the sacred foolish on the basis of materials of hagiographical sources and texts icon-painting originals is brought up. The visual image of foolishes for goodness sake in an Old Russian iconography is created on the basis of copying of initial samples on icon-painting to originals with allocation of the lines necessary for the image of this kind of sanctity.
