Art organization of internal space in St. Petersburg architecture of the XIX – the beginning of XX century

On the example of St. Petersburg architectural monuments issues of artistic organization of internal space, stand the basic principles of space-planning decisions. The research is based on the study of graphic material, historical and documentary sources, scientific literature, combined with the stylistic analysis of works of art. In a wide range of problems of architectural design and morphogenesis identified three ideas of internal space, with the principal epochs of the XIX century: Classicism, Historicism, Art Nouveau.
