Decorative decision of works of the icon-painting embroidery of the XVI century.  A value of Christian symbolism

In the article works of the icon-painting embroidery of XVI are examined strengthening of the decorative beginning in works of this time, dictated by the exit of the Moscow state on a world arena, by aspiration to underline his new possibilities, his power and meaningfulness. No less sufficient cause of strengthening of decorativeness is conditioned by the world view of epoch, when the decorative was understood as sacral.
