About the Activity of the Russian Orthodox Church Higher Governance in the end of 1920th — the first half of 1930th

This article examines the activity of the Russian Orthodox Church’s higher governance – Metropolitan Sergius and members of Provisional Patriarch’s Synod under him to maintain order and discipline on the canonical basis to prevent the final collapse and degradation of church life during new atheistic state’s anti-religious attack.
