Abstract:
This paper depicts the influence of Stalin and Wang Ming on a research of the Communist University of Eastern Toilers (KUTV) about the history of Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The author argues that, in KUTV in 1930s, there were two main tendencies in Chinese studies. On one hand, scholars of KUTV had to stick to the official Stalinist course. On the other hand, they did pay attention to the particularities of Chinese history by citing Wang Ming’s works.
