Publications
Graduated from the School of Romance-Germanic Philology of Bashkir State University. In 1988 she defended her PhD thesis in Germanic languages at M. Thorez Moscow State Institute of Foreign Languages. In 2003 defended her doctoral dissertation in the “Language Theory” at Bashkir State University. From 2004 to 2016 she headed the departments of intercultural communication and translation, then of English philology and intercultural communication at Bashkir State University, from 2016, she worked as a professor at the Department of English Philology at Pushkin Leningrad State University (St. Petersburg), from 2018 to 2023 she headed the department of Romance-Germanic philology and linguodidactics at Pushkin Leningrad State University. Since 2023, she has been working at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of St. Petersburg State University in the Department of English in the field of philosophy and social sciences.
She is the author of more than 260 publications on cultural linguistics, discourse analysis, media linguistics, and political linguistics.
