The article deals with the English terminology as exemplified by cochlear implantation terminology being at the final stage of formation. The aim of the terminology analysis is revelation of the chosen terminology peculiarities. The consistency and the strict logical interdependence of the terms demonstrate the development of the cochlear implantation terminology into a system of terms as a deliberately formed unity. The novelty is determined by the growing interest to the research of the terms linguistic characteristics as a whole, by the absence of linguistic research works on the English cochlear implantation terminology and the relevance of its description and classification.
